Christmas House Brings the Winter Wonderland Experience to NJ Malls

Would you like to take a trip to the North Pole and see Santa’s workshop? Or would your family rather be in scenes from famous Christmas movies? If your letter to Santa includes a travel request for a unique Christmas Village experience, head to Menlo Park Mall or Paramus Park Mall for an experience that even Santa’s elves can’t build.

From Black Friday, the two malls will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with a state-of-the-art Christmas Village that shoppers can experience at christmas house. A ten-room portion of each mall will be transformed by Hollywood and Broadway decorators, using lighting and digital technology to create festive holiday scenes.

Some of the interesting features will be the North Pole, including inland snow; scenes from “Elf” or “Nightmare Before Christmas”; a replica of Blockbuster Video, where adults will relive the joy of choosing a VHS tape; and a “Harry Potter” Christmas where they will see the halls of Hogwarts decorated for the holidays.

There will be more festive scenes with screens, fireplaces and Christmas trees where you can take selfies or photos for your family’s next Christmas card. There’s a light show inside and of course, a Christmas gift shop.

Christmas House is produced by the same designers who held Halloween house in autumn.
