Everett fire stations drop off locations for Christmas house


A reminder from IAFF Everett Fire Department Local 46 that you can drop off donations for the Christmas house at any of the fire stations in Everett, Washington.

Christmas House is an organization that the Everett firefighters are honored to support every year! They give Christmas gifts to children in our communities in Snohomish County. If your family has a need for toys, please contact The Christmas House directly.

While shopping this year, if you have it within your budget, consider buying some toys for families in need. Each Everett Fire Station is a donation collection site.

As of 2014… some of the Everett fire department members are picking up toys from community members.

Last year, the Christmas House provided more than 38,330 items. Are you doing Christmas shopping this weekend? Please consider an item on your list for the toy drive. All Everett Fire Department stations receive points for collecting toys. Here are some gift ideas for different ages:
– Gifts for children – From 0 to 8 years old. TOYS!
-Pre-teens gifts – 9 to 12 years old. Tweens enjoy sports equipment, craft kits, jewelry boxes, electronic games, and remote control cars.
– Gifts for teenagers – 13 to 18 years old. Popular items for teens include sporting goods, portable electronic games, sleeping bags, cosmetic gift boxes, watches, hairdryers, curling irons, and jewelry boxes.
Stuffed Animals – All Children
We will need 7,185 new stuffed animals this year.
Hats, gloves and scarves – All children
We plan to provide each child with a new pair of gloves or a warm hat or scarf for the winter.
– Stocking hats – 2,395 each
– Gloves – 2395 pairs
– Scarves – 2,395 each
Family gift – one item per family
Each family can choose a Christmas item such as wrapping paper, ornaments, lights or decorations. We will need 2390 items.
Books – All Children
We will need 7,185 pounds.
