Lisa Sign said her family was one of the victims.

“It’s supposed to be the holiday spirit, the lights and everything, and coming to people in the middle of the night to steal that just isn’t right,” she said.

Sign said her 11-year-old daughter was heartbroken when the family woke up on Saturday morning to learn their decorations had been stolen.

“We work hard for everything we have and Christmas is special for us,” Sign said.

Police said all of the break-ins took place late Friday evening or early Saturday morning.

“They stole an inflatable and 200 feet of light over a fence here in our neighborhood,” said Joe Turnbach.

The neighbor said that to show families won’t be intimidated, the lights have been replaced.

Police say they haven’t caught anyone yet.

“I hope they see this and if you do you tried to take the Christmas spirit away, but we’re a stronger community than that,” Sign said.
