A Snoopy themed creation is part of the “cake walk” at Christmas House Long Island in Riverhead.
It’s hard to believe the holiday season is just around the corner. And if you’re obsessed with all things Christmas, there’s a new attraction in Riverhead that might be perfect for you.
The Christmas House Long Island is a 10-room fully immersive indoor Christmas and vacation experience.
In the 8,000-square-foot home, you’ll pass through vacation-themed guest rooms, each designed by Hollywood decorators and featuring theatrical lighting and effects. Stroll through the Snow Room and experience the cold weather inside. Or play in the summer Christmas room filled with real beach sand. Perhaps spend some time in a holiday movie-themed room, such as the “Elf” or “A Christmas Story” rooms.
Then, marvel at the breathtaking talent of a true cake master as you take the cake walk. Andy Cakes designed these spectacular desserts to look like a stack of gifts, Snoopy’s Christmas doghouse, a fireplace with a roaring fire and more.
“The people of Long Island have had a difficult year and are looking for safe, family experiences that are both new and different,” said Jim Cirillo, co-producer of the event. “If you love the holiday season, Christmas House Long Island is for you.”
Guests must wear masks and purchase tickets with an assigned arrival time. Every weekend and on special dates, Santa Claus will be at the Christmas House to welcome children in complete safety.
The attraction is located at 1241 Old Country Road and is open from November 6 to January 10.
Tickets cost $ 30 for adults and $ 25 for children under 5 and are on sale now at www.christmashouseli.com.
