Zach and Tori told his parents they wanted to do Christmas alone this year and he started decorating the house.

About four minutes into the episode, Zach is seen pulling out the decorations and putting them up.

“It’s our first Christmas in the new house, so to make it a bit more special for the kids, we want to decorate the outside with lights,” he said.

He was seen installing large light bulbs and other decorations.

The 32-year-old wrapped the lights around tree branches, bushes and all over the garden.

He talked about their plans for Christmas while decorating and the kids and Tori stood in the doorway watching him.

The LPBW star had a little trouble putting the lights on the tree.

He explained that they would show the children all the lights when it got dark.

About 12 minutes into the episode, Zach and Tori brought their kids back to see the lights.

After the countdown, Zach plugged in the lights and both trees lit up.

It looked like more work than there was, but the kids were happy with it.

The lights were very dim and didn’t illuminate the whole garden.

Tori said afterwards that they would probably go bigger next year.

“THE LIGHTS ARE TERRIBLE! »

After the episode aired, fans on Reddit were quick to slam the couple for how the lights turned out.

“The Christmas lights were so awful and anti-climactic,” wrote one fan.

They continued, “They looked like they had been swept away by a storm and had randomly landed before being plugged in.”

“Those Christmas lights were sad! added another fan.

A third user added, “Yeah, the decorations on the mower were like ‘really Zach? Simply move the mover or have someone else do it for you if it’s too heavy. “”

“I’m not a big fan of outside lights in weird places like trees. Zach, of course, fucks it up and harms a tree,” another wrote.

The lights aren’t the only things fans have criticized about Tori and Zach.

The couple moved into their $1 million Battle Ground home in November 2021 and have featured it in previous episodes.

Fans called the property “ugly” as bulldozers and piles of dirt lined the exterior of the house.

Zach’s mother, Amy, and her husband, Chris Marek, stopped by to visit and showed them around the house.

Even though the family was still unpacking, there was damage everywhere.

They started by showing her parents their daughter, Lilah’s room.

Her bedroom was a mess, with toys strewn across the floor and items placed on her changing table.

The next room they entered was the master bedroom – Zach and Tori.

The bed was not made and clothes and various objects were piled on it, as well as a pile of clothes on the floor.

Everyone went to their son Jackson’s room, which he claimed to have cleaned, but there were still trash cans and everything lying around.

The family then went outside, which was overgrown with trees and plants.

There was also an incomplete playset outside, which Zach and Jackson were happy to work on.

Fans on Reddit once again slammed the couple’s home, with some simply saying “yikes!”

“They’ve never made good home buying decisions, but this news seems to be their worst. The interior is beautiful and the idea of having a ‘lot’ is great, but this area feels like a dive total,” added a Reddit user.

Others said Amy and Chris’ reactions showed the property was “garbage”.
