“We teamed up with Lori Harvey to make a surprise visit to a foster home for girls in downtown Los Angeles. We are so grateful to be able to share the joy of this holiday and know that others want to join us in supporting those who don’t always have special moments like this,’ it added/

The Dangerfield Institute of Urban Problems was founded by Elouise Dangerfield in 1985. The former registered professional nurse became concerned about the growing number of drug-addicted infants with no quality rehabilitation care available.

The institute’s mission statement is to “provide compassionate and culturally relevant services to empower our young adoptees.”

“The Dangerfield Institute of Urban Problems has two goals: the first goal is to provide services that enable all youth in care to reach their maximum emotional, social, educational and developmental potential.”
