To save time, many turn to online shopping sites to save time and have their purchases shipped to them to wrap and place under the Christmas tree, but for others there’s nothing like browsing offers from local stores to tick everything off their shopping list.

Davidson County residents recently shared in a social media poll their favorite local places to shop for Christmas gifts.

Kiser Country Mercantile, owned by Jessica and Jordan Kiser, topped the list with the most votes. They opened the store which features their handmade home decor signs and merchandise – largely handmade crafts and art – from more than 30 other vendors. Additionally, the store recently added a cafe inside.
