There may still be nearly two months until Christmas Day, but that hasn’t stopped Rochelle Humes from getting into the spirit and decorating her tree.

The TV presenter and former Saturdays singer revealed on her Instagram Stories – reported via Daily Mail – that she and her husband Marvin have already put up a Christmas tree in their house.

“Call me what you want I’m SO happy,” she captioned her photo.

In a follow-up post on Stories, she shared a post about how those who put up their Christmas decorations early are happier, writing, “If you don’t like it when people celebrate Christmas early, look away now . In my defense, it’s actually science.”

Humes isn’t the only famous person to go early with his Christmas celebrations and post it this year.

In recent weeks, personalities like Katherine Ryan, Helen Flanagan and the island of love star Amy Hart have already proudly shared their decorations.

However, none of these stars were as eager as Southampton mother Pip Bensley, who opted to put her decorations up over the August bank holiday weekend.

“The cost of lights is nothing compared to the happiness they bring. Spread the joy of Christmas. Imagine if the world was filled with merry Christmases,” she said.

Humes, meanwhile, has recently made headlines in the wake of her former Saturdays teammate Una Healy, who said she would love the opportunity to reunite the group.

“I would love to do something with the girls again. I’m ready for that, anytime,” she said.

Healy added: “It would be better if it was all five. But if not everyone is on the same page and there’s one who doesn’t want to do it or doesn’t feel it, don’t force it.”

Humes said earlier this year that she “can’t imagine doing” a Saturday reunion, describing her time in the group as “a beautiful chapter that ended for me”.
