It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas in this neighborhood – about six weeks before the big day!
Residents of Lamprey, Dosthill, Tamworth could be forgiven for thinking it was December 10 and not November 10 when looking at the Richards House!
Adam, 37, husband of Kelli and dad of Ella, Charlie, Scarlet and Delilah, decided to set up his decorations, complete with an inflatable Santa Claus and a snowman, on Tuesday and they had a blast.

He explained: “We usually don’t put them in place until December 1 and even then I’m a bit of a Grinch but we’ve had a few years of garbage with Covid and so on and especially the last few months for us as a family.
“My wife just had an operation so I wanted to bring some joy because this is her favorite time of year. We all need light and joy in what has been a strange time for everyone. We had a pretty crappy year, so I thought ‘why not?’.
“I decided to set them up on Tuesday before the kids got home from school. Their faces when they got home, especially Delilah’s, were magical. The neighbors love it too!
“We have snowflakes, a variety of sparkling lights in different colors, a sled on the roof and an inflatable Santa and snowman, candy canes, penguins, an illuminated Santa and a snowman. .
“I’m looking to add more lights to it to be honest. We will definitely be adding lights to the evergreens outside of our house.”
